Arvato adds flexible cloud services to its range

Due to their own internal compliance guidelines, companies are increasingly turning to hybrid clouds as part of digitization. Doing so allows them to combine the benefits of both private and public cloud applications. Arvato Systems' expanded portfolio in this area now also includes a Microsoft Azure Stack , which provides all services and apps of Azure's platform while meeting the compliance requirements of many industrial customers.
These internal regulations often prohibit the storage of corporate data outside of Germany, which can make data transfer to other public clouds problematic in such cases. By operating its own data center in Gütersloh, Arvato can now offer the Azure services in accordance with the directive. Although the concept of the Azure Stack also allows the development of an appropriate in-house infrastructure , the alternative of using an external provider such as Arvato benefits from the high flexibility and scalability of the serverless computing approach.
