This year, the BMWE’s trade fair presence focuses on application-oriented future technologies: exhibits range from a “Future Cabin” demonstrator for aviation to AI-supported image processing and robot-assisted friction stir welding in lightweight construction. Visitors thus gain concrete insights into technologies driving industrial transformation—a core theme of the trade fair.

An interactive booth concept invites visitors not only to view innovations but to actively experience them. This is complemented by a daily live forum featuring expert presentations, pitches, and panel discussions, including demonstrations of artificial intelligence applications.

Furthermore, the trade show presence serves as a hub for companies, research institutions, and startups: The BMWE provides information on funding programs—such as the Central Innovation Program for SMEs (ZIM)—and supports the development and implementation of project ideas.

In terms of content, the booth addresses key industrial policy topics, including digitalization, automation, sustainable energy supply, as well as research and technology transfer. In doing so, the Ministry positions itself as an interface between politics, business, and science and specifically strengthens the innovative capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The trade fair presence thus underscores the BMWE’s role as a driving force for a competitive, sustainable industry and highlights how ideas are transformed into marketable solutions.
