iTAC Software AG has once again been honored by Frost & Sullivan with the prestigious “Enabling Technology Leadership Award” in the category Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for the MedTech and Life Sciences industry. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the international supplier landscape, this award recognizes iTAC's pioneering role in the global MES/MOM market, particularly in highly regulated industries that rely on innovative and technologically advanced solutions. The award was based on an extensive analysis of the international supplier landscape.
According to iTAC, the demand for advanced MES solutions has increased significantly in recent years, particularly in the med-tech and life sciences sectors. There has been a significant increase in the complexity of production processes, regulatory requirements and the need for seamless traceability. MES with comprehensive solutions for manufacturing operations management (MOM) enable companies to map and optimize everything from production planning to quality control within a unified system.
iTAC itself sees itself as being on a consistent path of innovation. This is also supported by the fact that the manufacturing operations management (MOM) system iTAC.MOM.Suite is a further development of the MES and is intended to open up a new dimension in production control. According to iTAC, the solution uses IIoT technologies to create a seamless connection between analysis, networking and automation. With the ability to control and monitor production in real time, sources of error are minimized and downtime is avoided. A key advantage is said to be the microservices architecture, which provides functionalities as needed, promoting maximum flexibility.
On this basis, iTAC has also introduced the iTAC.MA.Suite, which integrates AI-supported analyses. It enables real-time and historical analyses at the machine, line and shop floor level, allowing companies to monitor and optimize their production processes with high precision in a dashboard. Real-time key figures make it easier to make proactive data-driven decisions. Machine conditions can be predicted and production quality improved.
In addition, iTAC offers flexible deployment options to meet a range of customer requirements across a variety of industries, including on-premises, cloud-based and hybrid models. The hybrid model uses edge technology to process data locally and transfer only critical information to the cloud, maximizing cost efficiency and accelerating data processing.
“By integrating highly advanced technologies such as real-time analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, iTAC helps companies to increase the transparency of their production processes, improve operational efficiency and strictly comply with the increasing number of industry regulations. Thanks to continuous technological developments and customized solutions with a strong customer focus, iTAC is at the forefront of the MES industry, driving transformative improvements and setting the benchmark for manufacturing excellence in the global market,” explains Ain Sarah Aishah, Best Practices Research Analyst at Frost & Sullivan, explaining the jury's decision.
