For more than 50 years, the family-owned company Bär Automation GmbH, now part of the Agile Robots Group, has been implementing customer-specific automation solutions as a system integrator, with the aim of making production and logistics processes more efficient, flexible and scalable.

‘Our focus is always on providing our customers with tailor-made solutions that not only optimise their production processes, but also make them future-proof. We accompany our customers from the initial consultation through planning and design to the manufacture of special-purpose machines and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs),’ explains Managing Director Ralf Bär.

The ConTrax modular system is an essential part of this customer-specific approach: thanks to its modular design, the individual components can be optimally adapted to the customer's requirements and easily modified if necessary. This means that the tailor-made AGV and AMR solutions can be easily adapted to changing requirements. They also enable easy integration into existing production environments, as they have been specifically designed for this purpose. Standard solutions often reach their limits here, as every production line is unique.

The ConTrax Robotic System provides a mobile robot platform that can be flexibly adapted to specific production requirements with modular components such as robot arms, load handling modules and energy modules. ‘This platform enables us to perform logistics, handling and assembly tasks autonomously and efficiently,’ explains Ralf Bär.

The ConTrax Assembly System optimises the manufacturing process within the production line by flexibly transporting workpieces from one assembly station to the next. The easy adjustment of the track guidance and the possibility of retrofitting stations make the assembly process more scalable and flexible.

The ConTrax Logistic System goes beyond individual production lines and optimises the flow of materials between work areas. ‘Our driverless transport systems transport goods and materials between different production and storage areas and, thanks to their flexible adaptation to different loads and shapes, are the ideal solution for the dynamic requirements of modern intralogistics,’ says Ralf Bär.
