ThEx innovativ, an Erfurt-based project of the Thuringia Foundation for Technology, Innovation and Research (STIFT), supports and accompanies regional startups and also provides new innovation impetus for the successful growth of existing companies. Thanks to close cooperation with regional and supra-regional start-up players, ThEx innovativ has a broad investor, industry and supporter network at its disposal to advance innovative start-up projects in a holistic and targeted manner. The project focuses primarily on the areas of consulting and coaching on business model development as well as on qualification and financing issues. Workshops, the identification of cooperation partners and industry contacts, up to the approach of investors as well as the annual realization of the Investor Days Thuringia complete the comprehensive offer. The fact that this model is bearing fruit is demonstrated by the funded startup Coachwhisperer, which will now present its idea for the first time at HANNOVER MESSE 2022.

The Coachwhisperer intercom system is designed to enable practical real-time communication between coaches and their athletes in the future. Connected via an innovative and wireless hearable, which can be customized for the perfect fit, the coach can select which players he wants to communicate with via an iPad app. He can choose between individual players, an individually selected group or the entire team. As if that wasn't enough, via a sensor in the ear, the smart Coachwhisperer records and transmits live heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and the athlete's individual stress zones - a bonus that can save lives in extreme cases.
