e.GO Mobile digitizes its production
Through a partnership with Software AG, e.GO Mobile intends to develop an enhanced digitization strategy in the future in order to make its own production even more efficient. The implementation takes place with the support of RWTH Aachen University.

The electric vehicle manufacturer e.GO Mobile based in Aachen, Germany, originally a startup from a project at the RWTH Aachen University , recently announced the commissioning of a new plant and the endeavor of a more consistent digitization strategy. For this purpose, the company relies on a partnership with Software AG's IIoT and digitization specialists . They will provide the vehicle manufacturer with the appropriate basis for implementing a comprehensive Industry 4.0 concept In the future.
The new production halls, where the current model e.GO Life will be built from now on, will serve as a reference with regard to the digitization of the production processes. In addition to the holistically conceived strategy, the introduction of a digital business platform, which will further improve the competitiveness and efficiency of the company’s international competitive field, is now also being introduced. The implementation takes place as part of the European 4.0 Transformation Center (E4TC) at the RWTH Aachen University. The participating companies profit from the interdisciplinary networking with other members and researchers involved in different research projects and their design under real conditions.
