There are two countries in the world where bicycles play a primary role in transportation. The first, China, is far from here – but the second is Holland, and particularly close to us as the HANNOVER MESSE 2014 Partner Country. It is therefore not surprising that one of the most streetwise innovations from the land of tulips and windmills has rolled our way. With the Drymer by the manufacturer of the same name, the Dutch demonstrate how economical and smart our own city and commuting traffic could soon be.

The Drymer succeeds both visually and technically as a combination of bicycle, pedelec, the former BMW Roller C1 and a three-wheeled scooter. All Drymer models are extremely comfortable and driver-friendly with their ergonomically shaped seats, in which traveling even longer distances is a pleasure. Drivers are backed up by a 250-watt electric motor similar to those used on eBikes. With cleverly designed full weatherproofing and a lockable carrier with enough space for a briefcase, the Drymer is the perfect healthy alternative for the morning ride to work, and equally agreeable for shopping or weekend pleasure rides.
