With its new MYZEL Lifecycle Platform, automation expert PILZ offers a software-as-a-service solution that centrally manages machines and personnel. The digital platform supports production and safety managers in operating their machines safely, securely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards throughout their entire lifecycle.

Offer as needed

The MYZEL Lifecycle Platform consists of the mandatory core myCore and freely selectable components, the workflows. At the beginning, operators digitally map their production sites with all machines and users in the MYZEL Lifecycle Platform. All relevant artifacts for a machine are then stored in myCore. These can be, for example, operating instructions, certificates, protocols, or employee data. Thanks to the integrated asset management system, these documents can then be accessed at any time from anywhere, improving the overview of the company's own machine park. In addition, users can initially choose from three different workflows and subscribe to and use them on a monthly basis as required: The mySafeDesign workflow for safe machine design guides the user through the risk assessment or validation process – for both new and existing machines. The mySafeOperation workflow for safe machine operation provides users with support for maintenance and inspection in accordance with legal requirements. And to manage the individual access rights of employees, the myAccessControl workflow is available for industrial access management.

Assistance for safety and documentation

Behind the respective workflows are various checklists and templates for implementation, for example, to keep track of the maintenance requirements for a machine or the authorizations and qualifications of employees on a daily basis. In this way, the MYZEL Lifecycle Platform contributes to a better overview and, at the same time, to more efficient processes in production. A customer-specific dashboard allows users to easily view the status of their assets and identify where action is needed – for example, if deadlines are expiring or evidence is missing. The platform also supports users in creating evidence and relevant documents throughout the lifecycle. The templates comply with the latest standards and legal requirements.

With the MYZEL Lifecycle Platform, machine operators can ensure that their machines are always up to date in terms of safety and security. They store the associated documentation and important digital artifacts in a clear and centralized manner on the digital platform and assign them to the machines and employees. This simplifies their work and also increases safety and productivity by ensuring compliance with specifications. According to PILZ, the cloud-based platform meets the highest data security requirements and is certified according to ISO/IEC 27017 and ISO/IEC 27018. All data is stored on servers in the EU. The MYZEL Lifecycle Platform is available now and is continuously being expanded with new functionalities.
