The new website of JOKARI GmbH & Co. KG, a specialist in precision tools for cable processing based in Ascheberg, has recently gone live. The focus of the redesigned website is on the expectations of modern users, for whom personal contact is particularly important.
In order to meet the desire for maximum accessibility, JOKARI's new corporate website uses innovative formats such as ‘Why to Buy’ product videos and a direct chat function. The aim is to be able to digitally replicate the valuable contact with users, customers and partners. According to a recent IFH Cologne survey, 67 per cent of users want authentic product tests by real people and employees – a need that few websites have met so far. ‘Our website is one of our most important calling cards to the outside world,’ explains Frank J. Goebbels, Managing Director of JOKARI GmbH & Co. KG. ‘Users and partners should not only find information here, but also experience an authentic user experience – regardless of the device they are using. Personal contact on site is not always possible. With interactive, digital features, we create solutions that provide the necessary proximity. Website visitors should feel that they will receive immediate help with any challenges they face in the field of cable processing.’
A central component of the website is ‘short form content’, which is also known from influencer marketing. Each product page features a portrait-format video in which JOKARI employees and influencers (practising electricians) briefly explain the advantages of the stripping tools. These videos follow the motto ‘From professionals for professionals’, are written in simple language and are available in several languages.
But the intelligent search function, which learns with every entry, and the newly designed FAQs with the most frequently asked questions also provide quick answers. The revised cable database enables product searches based on cable types with thousands of data records – the right wire stripping tool is just a few clicks away. The offering is complemented by a notepad function and optimised dealer referral for a seamless customer journey. The focus is on the target group: it is not uncommon for them to use their smartphone on the construction site to quickly search for the right tool for their specific cable processing challenge.
