Originally founded in the 1960s as a steel wire company, Ching Tai Electric Wire & Cable, better known as CTi, has become one of the industry's leading manufacturers of high-performance cables and connectivity solutions. Today, the Taiwanese company's cables can be found in airports, data centers, transmission rooms, operating rooms, commercial and residential projects around the world, meeting or exceeding relevant international standards for signal integrity, structural integrity, flame retardancy and hazardous material control. Committed to the values of quality, reliability and sustainability, CTi strives for long-term partnerships, both with its own employees and with customers who share these values. At HANNOVER MESSE 2025, CTi hopes to establish new partnerships and can be found at Stand D24/1 in the New Taipei City Government Pavilion.
Among the products being showcased in Hannover is the High Flex SPE (Single Pair Ethernet) series, which CTi claims offers unrivaled endurance and rugged reliability. Cables used on industrial robots and other moving machinery often have to withstand extreme torsional stress and drag chain movement. According to CTi, the new High Flex SPE cables from CTi kill two birds with one stone, saving money and, above all, the hassle that the wrong purchase can cause, in contrast to the competition, whose products are often only designed for one of the two types of stress mentioned. CTi's High Flex SPE is designed to achieve five million cycles at a bend radius of 80 millimeters in drag chain testing, and to withstand five million cycles of plus/minus 180 degrees torsion at one meter in length. For CTi, this is proof that this design is one of the most robust and resilient SPE in the industry for drag chain and torsion applications.
Another exhibit from the Taiwanese company in Hannover is the CTi M12, a right-angle patch cable designed for use in confined spaces and harsh environments. CTi claims to have over ten years of experience in the development, manufacture and assembly of IP67-compliant M12 XCode & M12 D-Code Ethernet cable assemblies. The company is now continuing this innovation with the latest addition to its Industrial Ethernet solutions, the M12 Right Angle Patch Cord. As industries continue to evolve and space becomes increasingly difficult, these new right-angle connectors are designed to meet the demands of the harshest and most demanding applications. The connectors are available for both the CTis Industrial C6A M12 X-Code series and the Profinet Type A, B, C and R M12 D-Code series and, according to the manufacturer, offer unrivaled performance in harsh environments.
