groov supports control and monitoring (HMI) from any browser-enabled screen
Share
Human machine interface (HMI) technology enables people to use machines to observe and control systems during operation. Today’s most modern and widespread interface is without a doubt the touchscreen of a smartphone or tablet – so it made sense to develop software that lets people use these screens to connect with the monitoring and control systems they are in charge of. Opto 22 is presenting its new browser-based HMI system groov at HANNOVER MESSE 2014.
Regardless of location, groov enables secure monitoring and control of applications and systems using any browser, from a smartphone to an HDTV, completely without regard for type of device, screen size or operating system. Neither special plug-ins nor specific controllers or downloads are needed. The software comes as a complete package. Using drag and drop, you can optimize objects on the touchscreen to quickly create visualizations that are clear, useful and easy to manipulate (HMI). Everything scales perfectly for any device, whether graphics, buttons, labels, images or video.
