Vodafone Business and IBM are preparing themselves for the next phase of the digital transformation with a new joint project . According to the two partners, companies now use up to 15 different cloud solutions. The networking of those clouds and the vulnerability of the data stored in them, however, is causing more and more problems. The new project should provide help in this area and ensure that data and applications flow freely and securely. Vodafone business customers are being given access to multi-cloud services, technologies with open architectures, and industry expertise from IBM. In addition, an eight-year commitment to managed services amounting to EUR 480 million has been agreed. The project should bring forth digital solutions and services that are developed in accordance with the latest agile methods.
Complex modern technology is increasingly leading to collaboration of firms in a wide range of industries. The technology company Continental , for example, has been cooperating with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence. Another example is the Dresden-based Dualis GmbH , which in cooperation with ERP4all has developed a solution for efficient resource and order planning in intelligent manufacturing.
