Approximately $40 million will go to accelerating diagnosis, treatment and vaccine development as well as providing devices and online learning resources to students with no access to technology. The goal is to provide hospitals with better access to technologies used to diagnose and treat COVID-19 and support public school districts with PC donations, online resources, study-at-home guides, and connectivity.

An additional $10 million will fund support for external partners and employee-led relief projects that address critical needs in their communities. One example is Medical Informatics Corp.’s Sickbay™ platform, powered by Intel technology, which turns beds into virtual ICU beds in minutes, helping protect critical care workers from risk of exposure.
