Softing Industrial, based in Haar near Munich, develops and markets a broad portfolio of software and hardware products for a wide range of applications in all sectors of the process and manufacturing industries. The range includes technology and data integration, communication and infrastructure components, as well as network monitoring and diagnostics. All products offered meet global standards and can be seamlessly integrated into heterogeneous systems.
Now the South Germans have announced the release of version V1.21 of the FG-200 gateway. With optimized hardware and firmware features, the gateway is set to set new standards in the reliable connection of FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 (FF H1) field devices to Ethernet-based control and asset management systems.
The FG-200, a proven gateway for integrating FF H1 field devices, was developed specifically for use in process automation. It enables the connection of up to four FF H1 segments to small to medium-sized control systems via Modbus TCP or FF HSE. In addition, it supports advanced asset management, allowing tools such as the Emerson AMS Device Manager and FDT-based applications to be used in parallel.
Softing Industrial believes that the new V1.21 version of the FG-200 is the ideal solution for system integrators and plant operators in process automation, particularly in the oil and gas industry. It supports the optimization of existing systems and simplifies the implementation of modern asset management applications.
