Under the project management of general contractor GP JOULE, the imposing PV park in Ganzlin will produce 65 MW of power after only eight months of construction, supplying roughly 16,500 households in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with CO2-free electricity. Eighty thousand of the total 165,000 modules are already in place today.
The largest solar project in Germany to date stands on the site of a former gravel pit. The commissioner of the Ganzlin solar park is Clenergy Global Projects Hamburg. In order to turn the pit into a building site for the gigantic project, Clenergy moved 1.1 million cubic meters of earth, thereby leveling the area.
GP JOULE is responsible for the complete planning, from selecting and procuring components and hiring service providers all the way to complete construction. The experienced energy experts from Reussenköge are pioneers in integrated energy.
