Startup Pitch @ Young Tech Enterprises was organized at HANNOVER MESSE from April 25th to April 29th. 40 industrial and technology startups , coming from the fields of hardware, IoT, industrial automation and industrial supply, pitched over the first four days of this year’s edition.

The jury – Klaus Engelhart from Constantia New Business, the sponsoring partner of the startup pitches, and Sascha Schubert, Vice Chairman of the German Startup Association – announced the winners on Thursday, April 28th at 3:00 P.M.

The winners were rewarded with 5,000 € in total, sponsored by Constantia New Business . Fluid Dynamix is developing innovative components like jets, diodes and switches; Ixworx is a provider of innovative 3D-construcstion- and presentation-software for industrial applications; NanoWired is developing a new type of coating technology using nano wires and a sensor system for bio- and pharmatechnologies.

A few minutes to impress

Investors, potential customers and enthusiastic industry experts were almost everywhere in Hall 3, but most are gathering in the Young Tech Enterprises Forum .

Pioneers from industry, politics and associations discussed how to help startups in the industrial sector and how corporations can benefit from their potential. In the digitally networked age, innovations often come from the smallest companies.

The Startup Pitch, organized by the German Startups Association, was a highlight of the exhibition area. This was a great chance for them to attract attention and, in particular, to find new partners.
