As a joint venture between the consultancy +Rasmussen and the software and consulting company Datavard , Innovard GmbH plans to assist managers in large companies on their way into the digital era : the assistance primarily aims to meet the needs of multinational corporations and DAX 30 companies. Innovard's goal is to provide decision makers with specific leadership skills to develop their own digitization strategies - through consulting and training, working out specific use cases tailored to their respective company, and drafting a basic plan of action.

Based on an analysis of the current state of development, Innovard identifies strengths, weaknesses, risks and potentials together with its customers in order to subsequently launch strategies and specific projects in areas such as smart analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence. To this end, co-innovation labs bring together managers, Innovard consultants, external specialists from companies such as Innovaptive , HR Factors and Cloudera , as well as representatives from partner universities. In doing so, Innovard could occupy an important niche: according to a r ecent study by etventure , the majority of major German companies still do not consider themselves sufficiently prepared for the digital transformation.
