One of these companies, DEPRO, is at HANNOVER MESSE 2017 to unveil a cutting and separating device fit for the high seas - the UNI Cutter.

The UNI Cutter is a hard-wearing tool designed to cut ropes, wires, chains, hydraulic lines, umbilicals and power cables. With a working pressure of up to 690 bar and a push-force of up to 360 metric tons, the item being cut can have a diameter of up to 320 millimeters. The UNI Cutter weighs 900 kilograms and can be customized by the manufacturer to meet specific customer needs in areas such as underwater use.
