Founded by Norbert Juschicz and Willibald Bacher in 2017, the Lower Austrian company Greenwood-Power can already look back on great success thanks to the proven expertise of the entire team. As a leading innovator for non-conventional transformers, the company claims to be able to develop unique products that revolutionize the market. The company, which now has 161 employees, manufactures current and voltage sensors for gas- and air-insulated local network substations and says it is currently enjoying high demand. This is mainly due to the increasing feed-in of renewable energies from solar and wind power. Greenwood-Power's patented sensors help to counteract the destabilization of power grids caused by fluctuations in production and demand.

"A gigantic sales market is currently emerging for us on all continents, as on average one transformer station per 100 households needs to be equipped with current and voltage sensors in order to modernize them for future load and feed-in profiles. Our accurate sensors have been specially designed for retrofitting local grid stations and are characterized by a cost-effective production method using 3D printing compared to the competition," emphasizes CEO Norbert Juschicz.
