Head of Samsung Networks Europe, Thomas Riedel, announced this massive investment at the Mobile Business Summit 2018 in Madrid. At the same time, he appealed to the representatives of other companies to lay the technical foundations for improving the integration of their employees' working and private lives. In doing so, Riedel relied on a recent study , according to which almost one in two Europeans is willing to work outside of their office and regular working hours. "Samsung aims at cooperating with partners to implement an automated, AI-controlled mobile network that enhances enterprise productivity, intelligence and security," said Jeong Wook Tak, vice president of Samsung Enterprise Business.
