When it comes to marking components or workpieces precisely and permanently, even in hard-to-reach places, a fiber laser is usually the logical option. It can be used to apply markings and labels with high resistance to environmental influences, solvents or abrasion without high costs. In combination with machine-readable codes, this enables the reliable and effective traceability of components and workpieces made of metal or plastic. cab Produkttechnik GmbH & Co KG from Karlsruhe, one of the leading manufacturers of solutions for marking individual parts, assemblies, products and packaging, is now presenting its new XENO 4S industrial marking laser for the first time at HANNOVER MESSE 2022.
Unlike its predecessor, the XENO 4S now features a lightning-fast focusing function. It can be used to mark components with sharp edges and depths across several planes, even with height differences of up to 140 millimeters. In addition, various F-Theta lenses with different focal lengths are available depending on the component. Like the entire XENO series, the XENO 4S also meets the high safety requirements of Performance Level d when integrated, for example, in fully automatic production lines or in a protective housing as a manual workstation.
