According to the German Engineering Foundation (VDMA) the Netherlands is Germany’s eighth largest export market. The country plays a similar role in German imports in machines and installations. It is in ninth place with a volume of over 2.4 billion Euros. Thanks to a high degree of flexibility, competitive prices, proven quality and short delivery times, Dutch suppliers are among the most innovative in Europe.

The Dutch supplying industry will be presenting its own special cooperative approach at a 2000 square meter pavilion at Industrial Supply 2015. That is 50 percent more space than in 2014 when the Netherlands was HANNOVER MESSE's Partner Country. "Dutch companies want to enlarge their presence in foreign markets," explains Simone de Roo from the industry association Mikrocentrum. "For that reason, interest in exhibiting at the world's leading industrial trade fair has risen sharply."

Dutch system suppliers can point to first-rate references in their home market, such as from Philips, ASML and Thales. In order to become better know abroad, four industry associations are organizing the Dutch Pavilion for 2015 together: Brainport Industries, Koninklijke Metaalunie, Mikrocentrum and NEVAT. Categories such as Engineering, Production, and System Suppliers will cover different parts of the supply chain. "We want to showcase innovative solutions for future global challenges by the Dutch supplier network," explains John Blankendaal, Brainport Industries. The title of the pavilion in Hall 4 expresses "the Dutch promise" in its slogan: "Global Challenges, Smart Solutions".
