The Federal Government is encouraging the swift transfer of good ideas from the laboratory to industry with a range of initiatives under its High-Tech Strategy. Our national innovation policy is rallying all the stakeholders in the innovation process and helping to strengthen links between science and industry at all levels.

Research & Technology is doing the same: It offers exhibitors an opportunity to network with over 6,000 other exhibitors at the HANNOVER MESSE and present their work to a wide public. It provides innumerable opportunities for new partnerships and inspiring encounters which can help to foster innovation.

A visit to Research & Technology is worthwhile – not only for the trade fair itself but also for the wide range of accompanying events. I hope that this year too it will once again be a venue for building bridges between science and industry and that visitors will leave with interesting impressions and new insights.
