There's no doubt that fossil fuels are running out, but what isn't so clear is what will replace them - there are a whole lot of systems in the running. Unless nuclear fission makes a dramatic comeback - and until nuclear fusion makes its breakthrough - the best solution is perhaps a smart mix of other alternative energy sources. Among the most important alternatives are the sun and the wind, but energy generated from these sources needs to be stored, efficiently converted and distributed using special systems. As a pioneer in the fuel cell sector, balticFuelCells GmbH specializes first and foremost on energy conversion. Every new project it launches is aimed at enhancing the efficiency and quality of its products.

The company's "quickCONNECTfixture liquid cooled" (qCf lq) project is no different - a revolutionary test cell system for the professional characterization of fuel cells. "qCf lq" is based on the patented quickCONNECTfixture product development and its tried-and-tested advantages - quality assurance, reproducibility, quick & easy assembly, increased productivity, cold start option and a wide temperature range (-40 to 180 degrees Celsius). Developed in partnership with the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, the new generation with liquid cooling supports even greater efficiency in temperature regulation for internal cell components, making it particularly ideal for tests involving high current densities in the automotive sector.
