The KIT Science Week is part of the successful application for excellence of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and combines a top-class scientific conference by and with internationally renowned scientists with diverse events for the public.

Researchers from all over the world will exchange information on the latest developments in climate research. During KIT Science Week, citizens interested in science, children, students, and all curious people will get exclusive insights into the most diverse facets of research. Whether impulse lecture, panel discussion, dialog for citizens, or guided tour through open laboratories - there is something for everyone.

Bettina Stark-Watzinger, Federal Minister of Education and Research, is one of the event's supporters. In her welcoming address, she encourages all citizens to actively participate: "KIT Science Week is hands-on science: Citizens can experience research here in a wide variety of formats and not only take something away, but also get involved themselves." Interested parties can find detailed information on the individual events at the specially created website www.scienceweek.kit.edu.
