HIWIN Technologies Corporation is a Taiwanese group operating worldwide in the field of drive technology, with its German branch based in Offenburg. The company manufactures and distributes profile rail guides, ball screws, and positioning systems. With the new UR heavy-duty roller guide, HIWIN is now launching a powerful upgrade to its proven roller guide. According to the supplier, the new roller guide impresses above all with a static load capacity that is up to 34 percent higher and a dynamic load capacity that is up to 19 percent higher, which has increased its service life by 70 percent. According to HIWIN, this makes it ideal for high-precision axis movements even under maximum load.

The new heavy-duty roller guide will be available in sizes 35, 45, and 55 from the beginning of 2026. It is available in flat, high, or flange designs as a heavy-duty or super-heavy-duty variant and offers a wide range of customization options. Thanks to numerous accessory options, including sheet metal scrapers, cover tape, steel cover caps, and integrable position measuring systems, the roller guides can also be flexibly adapted to demanding environments – for maximum reliability in demanding applications such as machine tools.

Also new are the miniature ball screws, which HIWIN presented for the first time. They were developed specifically for applications where every millimeter counts. They are designed to enable precise, low-friction, and repeatable linear movements in an extremely compact design. According to HIWIN, this makes them ideal for extremely limited installation spaces without compromising load capacity or efficiency.
