First the German Brand Award , now the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2019 : Intralogistics specialist Dematic impressed the international design competition’s jury with its product presentations in its Imagination Center , where customers can, for example, configure a tailor-made storage system in 3D and fly through it virtually. In the 2,600-km2 Imagination Center, Dematic presents intralogistics automation technologies. Customer-specific and fully automated warehouse solutions can therefore be visualized in the showroom before even a single screw is installed. In the three themed areas ‘Smart’, ‘Rapid’, and ‘Flexible’, customers can learn more about Dematic technologies with the help of animated films. The playfully conveyed content stimulates discussions about the development of individual intralogistics solutions. The wants and needs generated during the tour are incorporated into an initial warehouse configuration, which is visualized in 3D. The Imagination Center concludes with a peek into Dematic’s Tech Center, where some of the technologies previously experienced virtually can be seen live.
