  • Dr. Jochen Köckler assumes portfolio Industries, Energy & Logistics
  • Hannover, Germany. After years of expansion into overseas markets, Deutsche Messe has reorganized to further support its expanding international focus. The company's trade fairs are now organized according to industry sector with a single manager in charge of each respective portfolio. As a result, the responsibilities within Deutsche Messe's managing board have changed as follows:

    Member of the managing board Dr. Jochen Köckler is responsible for the portfolio "Industries, Energy & Logistics". In addition to HANNOVER MESSE and CeMAT in Germany, he is responsible for Deutsche Messe's global industrial, energy and logistics trade fairs. Köckler also manages all respective guest events, including EMO Hannover, IAA Commercial Vehicles and AGRITECHNICA, as well as Deutsche Messe's department for new and guest events.

    Member of the managing board Dr. Andreas Gruchow is responsible for the portfolios "Woodworking/Wood Processing" and "Floor Coverings".

    Member of the managing board Oliver Frese remains in charge of the portfolio "ICT & Digital Business", which contains CeBIT in Hannover as well as ICT exhibitions abroad.

    Dr. Wolfram von Fritsch, chairman of the managing board at Deutsche Messe, continues to manage the divisions Finance & Legal and Marketing & PR as well as the departments Auditing, Digital Office, Human Resources & Organization, and Strategic Program Management.
