Robert Habeck to participate in HANNOVER MESSE
An independent energy supply requires massive expansion of renewable energies, investments in energy efficiency and digitalization of energy systems. Exhibitors at HANNOVER MESSE show how this works. Dr. Robert Habeck, Germany's minister for economic affairs and climate action, will meet these enablers of the energy transition at the world's leading event for industrial technology.

Hannover. "The real path to energy independence is to exit fossil fuels," said Robert Habeck, Germany's minister for economic affairs and climate action, in Berlin at the beginning of March. The same week, Germany's federal government introduced a package of laws that aim by 2035 to enable electricity supply from renewable sources.
Experts believe the goal is achievable. However, the pace of expansion – for example in wind energy – has to increase significantly and industry must invest in energy-efficient buildings and production processes. Exhibitors at HANNOVER MESSE show technological solutions for the energy transition from 30 May to 2 June. Habeck announced his visit to HANNOVER MESSE today.
