dataR, the cutting-edge data centre in Rellingen near Hamburg, is setting new standards in innovation and efficiency. Under the leadership of experienced entrepreneurs Andreas Janker and Martin Bosner, dataR aims to become Germany’s most advanced and efficient colocation data centre.
Building on the practical experience gained by x-ion GmbH, founded in 2009, dataR stands for high-performance, efficient and sustainable colocation solutions.
With an outstanding PUE value of between 1.088 and 1.225, achieved through advanced water-cooling technology, dataR far exceeds conventional standards and champions ecologically groundbreaking solutions.
The design meets strict quality standards, confirmed by the successful Proof of Concept in accordance with EN 50600 VK-3. Particular emphasis is placed on the efficient use of waste heat for the local ‘Local Heating in the Neighbourhood’ project and the procurement of 100% green electricity.
