The campaign “80 million together for energy change” raises awareness and motivates private households, companies and municipalities to reduce their energy consumption and switch to renewable energies. In this way, the energy transition towards climate neutrality is pushed forward across Germany. Together and in continuous exchange with relevant stakeholders, civil society is motivated and activated for taking a part in the energy transition. This happens via communication on social media, at specialist conferences, with information events and online seminars.The knowledge platform www.energiewechsel.de provides information about energy saving and renewable energies, presents funding programs and practical tips for private households, communities and companies.
The “Dialogue Energy Change” office is the link between the campaign and all stakeholders in the field of energy transition. Since 2020, the office has been operated by the German Energy Agency on behalf of the BMWK.
