With over 130 years of experience, we operate in Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein with emissions significantly below the international industry average – responsibly and efficiently supplying industry and households in the region.
From our Hamburg office, we manage our activities across northern Germany: from the Mittelplate oil field off the west coast of Schleswig-Holstein, to the natural gas reservoirs around Langwedel-Holtebüttel, and the Emlichheim oil field on the Dutch border. In Barnstorf, we bring together geoscientific and engineering expertise at our Technology & Service Center. The Decommissioning department, also based there, coordinates the dismantling of former facilities nationwide and ensures that previously used sites are carefully restored.
