Continuous innovation is the key to competitiveness. It arises where small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), science, social actors, and large companies work closely together. The WIR! alliance “MR4B – Mixed Reality for Business” brings these players together in an innovation ecosystem and, with low-threshold, practical mixed reality (MR) applications in conjunction with AI technologies, makes a significant contribution to the digital transformation of the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan region. The aim is to actively shape the industrial future of the region, develop a vision for the workplace of the future, and drive forward regional structural change. In the WIR! alliance MR4B, companies, scientists, users, and associations are working and researching together on this vision. The alliance is coordinated by the Adlershof-based software company X-Visual Technologies and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
