Our tracking resistance test apparatus – consisting of a test chamber and an intelligent control unit – combines standards-compliant safety with exceptional performance. It operates reliably in accordance with DIN EN IEC 60112 and ASTM D3638 and goes far beyond standard requirements: tests can be performed at voltages of up to 1000 V.
Beyond Standards – Maximum Configurability
In addition to the normative specifications, numerous test parameters can be individually configured – for example, to protect the platinum electrodes or to adapt to specific testing requirements. The control unit automatically sets all relevant parameters, ensuring a smooth and fully reproducible test sequence.
Complete Transparency
All measured data are clearly displayed on the screen and are also available via LAN or USB interface. In addition to the CTI and PTI values, complete test reports and the full time-resolved progression of the test procedure can be accessed – including voltage, current, temperature, flame occurrence, droplet count, and other relevant parameters.
This ensures full traceability at any time, documenting which settings were used and how the test was conducted in detail – a decisive advantage for quality assurance, documentation, and certification processes.
Consistent Precision – Even with Fluctuating Mains Voltage
Internal compensation of mains voltage fluctuations guarantees exact voltage steps. Even tests above 600 V can be carried out precisely in 25 V increments.
