Overview:
Radix Florestal presents the Legacy Project, a strategic roadmap to restore 50,000 hectares of the Brazilian Amazon by 2050 through a scalable, technology-driven Agroforestry System (AFS). Building on a proven track record of 6 successful projects, we bridge the gap between ecological restoration and institutional profitability.
R&D and Methodology:
Our proprietary model focuses on Productive Restoration, utilizing a biodiversity engine of over 20 species to ensure climate resilience and high-integrity environmental assets. This approach is supported by advanced satellite monitoring, fire prevention systems, and a robust legal framework to mitigate operational risks in the Amazon region.
Sustainable Supply Chain & Carbon Assets:
The project is engineered to deliver high-value commodities, including a projected FSC-certified tropical timber and an annual output of regenerative agricultural products and native bioeconomy ingredients. Simultaneously, we are structuring the generation of 1.3 million tons of high-integrity carbon credits (VCUs) for the first 2,000-hectare phase, with long-term goals of reaching 20 million credits.
Investment & Off-take Goals:
Following a €1.5 million commitment from anchor investor Ecosia , we are now seeking strategic institutional partners to capitalize the next 2,000-hectare expansion of the Legacy Project. Our focus is on scaling operations through high-impact hybrid financing models, including Equity and Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) , supported by long-term off-take agreements for carbon credits and certified regenerative commodities.
