proFRAME is a high-performance modular video grabber and playback system consisting of a base board and swappable adapter modules for all common in-car video transmission technologies. These include GMSL, FPD-Link (all generations for both), as well as ASA-ML, A-PHY; GVIF3, MIPI CSI-2, and HDMI. Customer-specific adapters can be developed and manufactured on demand. The current generation proFRAME 3.0 is being successfully used worldwide in numerous automotive data loggers from various manufacturers as well as in complex HiL systems for the validation of camera-based ADAS/AD driving functions.
proFRAME 3.0 is available in the form factors PCI Express, PXI Express and CompactPCI Serial (CPCI-S.0). Depending on the application, recording of up to eight 4K camera image data streams or playback of up to four 4K camera image streams is possible.
proFRAME comes with a comprehensive FW/SW library for controlling the proFRAME from a host system (available for Windows 10/11 or Linux) and can very easy be integrated into existing development and validation environments like ADTF, ROS2, or other customer-specific platforms. Numerous cameras by name manufacturers like Leopard Imaging or e-con Systems are already pre-integrated, enabling quick and targeted commissioning of the complete system.
