The sensor designated SIEDS is part of the CM&SM system (Condition Monitoring & Security Management System) and can measure ten key physical parameters that influence the availability of industrial assets.
The SIEDS sensor combines sensing technology, data processing, and network communication in a compact and robust IP65 enclosure, making it suitable for a wide range of condition monitoring applications. It detects and analyzes environmental conditions such as temperature, pressure, humidity, air quality, acceleration, and acoustics.
In addition, the sensor features intelligent alarm management, which can be adapted to different assets in industrial environments using a teach mode.
The SIEDS is ideal for use cases in which multiple physical parameters may indicate the failure of a critical component. This enables targeted and timely maintenance. Experience has shown that the use of multifunction sensors for monitoring bearings, electric motors, storage conditions, pipe leaks, and many other applications is particularly beneficial.
