SXIVE (Simplified eXtensive Image and Video Engine) is a comprehensive image processing ecosystem consisting of the actual image processing software, a frame grabber board, hardware accelerators, and a variety of apps and plugins. It enables image processing professionals to practice rapid prototyping as well as real-time processing and analysis of images and video streams. With its flexible architecture, SXIVE can be tailored to the requirements of any imaging project.
Building on the system’s core image signal processing toolkit, the SXIVE SoftISP SDK, Solectrix also offers the SXIVE Calibration SDK. This is a powerful software-based solution that empowers customers to calibrate their image-based systems effortlessly, while also ensuring seamless compatibility with a large number of image sensors.
Whether as a complete system in the form of two hardware bundles, as a package consisting of software, a frame grabber and/or a graphics card, or as a pure software solution – SXIVE enables a quick start into the prototyping phase as a functional demonstrator is available from day one. This makes it easy to test different sensors, sensor formats and configurations, or to evaluate algorithms without having to switch the development environment after changing hardware components or facing new requirements over the course of the project. The system can later also be used for acceptance tests.
