Learn everything that is needed to use Open Source software in industry in a license compliant way and with best achievable technical properties
Since the introduction of Open Source software and other community developed tools and services, there is training and teaching with respect to Open Source software and other community developed tools and services which are best taught by community organizations. As such, OSADL is offering a broad range of training courses, seminars and workshops that enable companies to handle the challenges of using community provided services and tools. Examples of continuously adapted events are:
- Heidelberg OSADL Talks (HOT). HOT are video training courses on basic legal (Legal HOT) and technical (Technical HOT) aspects of using Open Source software in industry - can be used as training material. Non-members may request individual access (osadl.org/HOT)
- Compact OSADL Online Lectures (COOL). COOL is monthly webinar and covers new and current topics on Open Source software in industry (osadl.org/COOL).
- OSADL Networking Day. The Networking Day is a yearly conference all about Open Source software in industry
- Workshops and seminars on current topics such as license compliance when using Open Source software in industry, IT for lawyers, software scanning with FOSSology, security challenges of embedded systems, safety certification of Open Source software, etc.
- Individual so-called "OSADL Days". Companies who would like to learn what OSADL is all about and how OSADL can help solve Open Source related challenges may request an information event either in-house or via video conference. Such events are also offered to long-term OSADL members who would like to get an update on recent developments on Open Source topics.
