With the software voraus.core, voraus robotik offers a hardware-agnostic operating system for industrial robots as well as an open platform for the development, execution, and monitoring of automated production processes. Integration and commissioning as well as process changes are standardized and drastically simplified – sustainably and without vendor lock.

Robots, grippers, cameras, and other ecosystem components and technologies can be fully integrated via a Python-based development environment and orchestrated within the application. A graphical user interface enables adaption and optimization of the process on the factory floor. Changes are made independently without any specific knowledge – keeping processes up to date and operators independent at all times.

Sustainability

With the voraus.core, voraus robotik offers a containerized software solution that can be installed on existing hardware. An additional IPC or additional hardware in general is not required – this reduces complexity, saves costs, and lowers energy consumption.

Existing, outdated systems and applications can be upgraded to the state of the art with voraus.core and optimized at the same time – this increases operating lifetime without investing in new components.

The open interfaces of voraus.core guarantee the integration of current and, most importantly, future smart technologies in order to analyze processes at runtime and optimize their output while saving resources.

Future Outlook

In the future, the need for efficient and sustainable automated production processes will be even greater. With voraus.core, voraus.robotik already meets this demand today. Thanks to modern high-level languages, neither vendor-specific knowledge nor specifically trained experts are required – cost-effectiveness and long-term sustainability of production systems are guaranteed.

The open interfaces of the voraus.core guarantee technological sustainability. For instance, they allow for the integration of AI-based co-pilot functionalities, increasingly supporting the development of automated solutions and boosting efficiency. In addition, AI-based tools for the analysis and optimization of production processes can be integrated – less resources at higher output rates.
