The latest Lünendonk study confirms that the small-to-medium-sized IT consulting sector experienced its second difficult year in a row in 2025. The 25 leading companies increased their revenue by an average of just 1.9 percent. The main causes are the persistently low willingness to invest, declining demand from the automotive industry and public administration, and the high dependence of many IT service providers on major clients.
