A heavyweight in the field of lightweight construction

Composites United e. V. (CU) was formed from the merger of the two associations Carbon Composites e. V. and CFK Valley e. V. Around 350 members have joined forces to create this powerful industrial and research alliance to jointly develop lightweight construction solutions for the future.
For HANNOVER MESSE 2025, the CU has now invited its members to visit the association at the joint stand in the Lightweight Construction Pavilion. There will be a special exhibition there on the topic of ‘Sustainability and the circular economy with composites’, where the network and its stakeholders will showcase the current state of play on the topic with recycled materials and demonstrator components made from secondary raw material sources. The question of the recyclability of fibre-reinforced composites is repeatedly raised in politics and society. HANNOVER MESSE traditionally offers a good opportunity to present solutions and innovations in this area and thus provide information about the current state of the art.
CU members also have the opportunity to present themselves at the joint stand and explain their recycled materials and components at the special exhibition. In addition, participating CU members can register at the Speakers Corner of the pavilion and present their own company or institute with a lecture. The CU will be present the entire week of the HANNOVER MESSE 2025 and will answer questions about the exhibits and the co-exhibiting companies.
