Last year, the Fischer Group generated sales totaling 864 million euros with a global workforce of around 5,200. The Group's five divisions are fischer Befestigungssysteme, fischer automotive systems, fischer Consulting, LNT Automation and – last but not least – fischertechnik, which is a firm favorite with people of all ages. Its construction kits are marketed as toys and also as learning aids. What's more, fischertechnik is one of the few remaining toymakers to develop and manufacture its products exclusively in Germany. The company is now exhibiting a desktop Industry 4.0 solution at HANNOVER MESSE 2019.

Proclaimed by fischertechnik to be the only product of its kind anywhere in the world, the Training Factory Industry 4.0 is a handy miniature model that reproduces the various processes in a real-life production operation. A cloud-connected dashboard is designed to display all process steps from customer, supplier and production management perspectives. By simulating factory operations, fischertechnik is looking to provide a digitized, networked representation of the processes involved in placing an order online. Showcased live in Hall 16, fischertechnik factory models are designed to help all kinds of companies demonstrate and plan their digitization activities.
