The Hanover-based company SSV Software Systems presented the IIoT/PA-Pac , a hardware and software retrofit solution for the acquisition and analysis of status data. The retrofittable Industry 4.0 kit allows companies to make their production facilities fit for networked anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, predictive quality and other prediction methods.

The IIoT/PA-Pac includes hardware interfaces for collecting data, which SSV's Sensor 2 Information Service can then analyze. Both statistical methods and various machine learning algorithms are used for predictive maintenance. SSV also provides the sensors for querying the data. Type and quality are selected in accordance with the task. The spectrum ranges from simple Pt100 industrial sensors to IO-link based sensor systems through to battery-operated wireless sensors.
