A synergistic relationship
Resilient energy infrastructures are essential for scalable production systems in the all-electric society. That much is obvious. However, only comprehensive and consistent data from energy generation, storage, distribution and use will enable cross-sector, efficient automation solutions for a climate-neutral future.

At the HANNOVER MESSE trade fair, the HARTING Technology Group will be showcasing end-to-end connection solutions for the electrified society. From single-pole connectors for modular battery storage systems to connection systems for energy infrastructure and compact data connectors for efficient connections from sensors to the cloud in automated factories.
There is no one-size-fits-all solution for all the requirements of an electrified society. When it comes to the mechanically, climatically and physically demanding conditions of energy infrastructure, safety cannot be compromised: high currents, harsh environmental influences and difficult installation environments require both protection and ease of use.
Mechanical engineering and industrial automation, on the other hand, require flexible, efficient and space-optimised solutions – after all, in the ideal case, different automation devices, production modules and systems must be able to be seamlessly combined, exchanged or expanded.
Solutions from a single source are therefore not an empty marketing promise, but a tangible advantage for customers in all areas of application. In addition to coordinated connectors and cables, this also includes digital services that can accelerate innovation. Digital twins, product data passports and free tools for engineering and procurement are the game changers of this digital transformation. HARTING 2025 was even awarded the Industrial AI ‘FREDDIE’ Award for this.
