3D premiere: Virtalis is presenting its new Visionary Render software for displaying processes in virtual reality (VR) at HANNOVER MESSE 2014. The product is marketed around the globe since the start of the year – and is being presented for the first time with all its features at Digital Factory 2014, the flagship trade fair for integrated processes and IT solutions.

"VISIONARY Render immersive Virtual Reality (VR) Software" is the official name of the new release, a software solution that enables visualization and processing of large 3D data volumes on screen displays. David Cockburn-Price, Marketing Director of Virtalis, explains the product: "Visionary Render allows CAD users to utilize the full value creation chain in the product lifecycle. The world of VR visualization is self-explanatory and intuitive with Visionary Render. Visionary Render allows users to easily interact with and immerse themselves in their data on a human scale, to collaborate with others in a single VR environment and tap into the benefits that flow from these activities." The applications of the VR software range from designing a vehicle or wind turbine, to monitoring production processes in factories, with teams able to collaborate on a single product from different locations. The shared virtual environment is a place where product blueprints can be developed, machines serviced, assembly and manufacturing processes checked and basic process decisions made more quickly. Another advantage: Users can import very large CAD data sets with Visionary Render, explains Andrew Connell, Virtalis Technology Director "Its huge range of functions makes Visionary Render perfect for countless applications and offers multiple features."
