SALT employs more than 500 specialists with expertise in manufacturing and supply chains systems, including SAP manufacturing software. The deal brings SALT into the Accenture initiative «Industry X», which helps clients improve how they operate factories and plants. The acquisition enables Accenture to build cloud-based industrial internet of things (IIoT) platforms that optimize production and logistics while reducing waste along the entire supply chain.
