The Munich-based consultancy was founded in 2008 and boasts some 190 employees. With this acquisition , Accenture, one of the leading global professional services companies for management consulting and technology, wants to drive its development of smart products and services for automotive companies and expand its offering for the medical technology, industrial equipment, and high-tech industries. Both of Zielpuls’ current CEOs will join Accenture as managing directors.
Zielpuls is the latest of several acquisitions by Accenture, including designaffairs and Pillar Technology , which specializes in embedded software development for the automotive industry. Indeed, the service provider appears to be currently enjoying a spate of acquisitions, notably with its recent takeovers of creative agencies Hjaltelin Stahl and Droga5 , for instance.
