The Berlin-based software specialists at PSI have now been honored as “Business Innovators” for innovative software solutions for the energy industry by the German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization.

The award from the German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization (diind), in cooperation with DUP Entrepreneur Magazine, recognizes companies that set new standards with forward-looking ideas, technological excellence, and courage.
The award recognizes PSI's commitment to digital transformation, efficiency improvement, and sustainable software development. PSI particularly impressed the jury with its innovative solutions for the energy industry. These include curative congestion management and quantum-secure encryption for control system infrastructures, as well as AI-supported anomaly detection, which is designed to help network operators make their operational processes faster and more sustainable.
At the award ceremony in Frankfurt in November 2025, Dr. Tobias Pletzer, Head of Research and Innovation at PSI Software SE, accepted the award and said: “Innovation is part of our DNA. Our software solutions are developed in close collaboration with our customers. This enables us to create products that are not only technologically impressive, but also offer real added value.”
