The modern modular structure of the PSIpenta/ERP 10 ERP system from the Berlin software forge PSI simplifies not only the implementation but also the configuration of solution modules and their provision, updates and operation. In addition, the group-wide PSI Java platform ensures operational and platform independence.

Many of the new functions in version 10 were designed and implemented in collaboration with existing customers. These include cross-structure material scheduling and picking. In addition, an assembly-friendly manufacturing structure can be generated automatically to precisely coordinate demand times and material picking across structures. This simplifies planning and saves a considerable amount of time and effort, making the entire production process more effective and cost efficient. New forecasting functions are available for sales planning and enable actual data comparison.

Framework production orders enable series manufacturers in particular to benefit from an optimized planning logic that reduces the administrative burden on employees in production. For the plastics manufacturing industry, resource management has been expanded and resources are now taken into account in time determination and coverage calculation. The new multi-level package management enables the mapping of complex packages throughout the entire manufacturing process, from goods receiving to warehousing and manufacturing to shipping.
